European Sediment Research Network - SedNet

This thematic network aims to satisfy the demand for knowledge exchange on contaminated sediment management, a problem common to all large harbour and industrial cities of the world, and to widen the knowledge on this topic.
SedNet’s structure includes research agencies and relevant authorities, organised in one Steering Committee, one Secretariat, one Co-ordinator, six Working Groups (WG) and WG leaders.

All Working Groups aim to widen their own fields of competence through research, and to spread the information through a website with free admittance, through annual conferences open to all network members, through workgroup meetings open to SedNet members and to experts, and through publication of research results.
