The aim of Beijing Training Program is to provide Beijing municipal decision-makers, executive officers, engineers and business managers with theoretical issues and case studies linked to European and Italian experiences of Environmental Protection.

The main objective of the training is to build-up the trainees' capacity on Environmental Management and Sustainable Development and to share knowledge and information between Italian and Chinese sides about their respective successful practices in the process of pursuing Sustainable Development.

The training activity includes classroom lectures, interactive didactics and site visits. In addition to Beijng Environmental Protection Bureau (BJEPB) as co-organizer with VIU, the training also involve professors of different Italian and European Universities, IMET executives, Chinese experts, Italian and international research centres, business communities, international agencies such as UNDP and UNEP.
