Sustainable Development Advanced Training Program
 

The aim of MOST Training Program is to provide Chinese participants with theoretical issues and case studies related to European and Italian experiences on Sustainable Development.

The main objective of the training is to build-up Chinese trainees' capacity on Environmental Management and Sustainable Development and to raise the environmental awareness of the Chinese officials, experts and senior business leaders.

The training activities include classroom lectures, interactive didactics and site visits. In addition to MOST as co-organizer of VIU, the training also involves professors of different Italian and European Universities, IMET executives, Chinese experts, Italian and international research centres, business communities, international agencies such as UNDP and UNEP.

Each training is organized as a two-week course involving 30 resident participants. Courses are held in English with consecutive translation into Chinese.

Topics including Global Environment and Strategies for Sustainable Development, National and Local Dimensions of Sustainable Development, Clean and Renewable Energy and Water Resources Management are being covered during the training.

In addition to general principles on Sustainable Development, more technical and concrete topics focused on Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Advanced Technologies on Renewable Energy and Ecological Industrial Park will be dealt during the forthcoming training.
