The aim of Shanghai Training Program is to provide Shanghai municipal decision-makers, executive officers, engineers and business managers with theoretical issues and case studies linked to European and Italian experiences of Environmental Protection.

The main objective of the training is to build-up the trainees' capacity on Environmental Management and Sustainable Development and to share knowledge and information between Italian and Chinese sides about their respective successful practices in the process of pursuing Sustainable Development.

The training activity has taken place in October 2004 with a Study Tour on Italian experiences of environmental management. Participants have been selected among Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau (SHEPB) officials.
